BEFORE YOU BOOK
By booking a session with Andre Portee, you confirm that you have read and agree to the policies below. These policies are here to keep expectations clear and make the process easy for everyone.

BOOKING + PAYMENT

Your session is not officially reserved until the required retainer or session payment has been received.
Retainers are nonrefundable and are applied toward your total session cost.
Remaining balance must be paid 24 hrs before your scheduled session begins to confirm booking. Sessions booked within 72 hours may require payment in full at the time of booking.
A scheduled date may be released if payment is not completed within the required timeframe.
RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS

· More than 7 days before the session: your retainer may be transferred one time to a new available date.
· Within 7 days: the retainer is forfeited and a new retainer may be required to book another date.
· Within 48 hours or a no show: all payments made are nonrefundable.
· If I pay/credit nonrefundable costs for your session upfront (props, supplies, etc.), those costs remain your responsibility and will be added to your final payment.
LATE ARRIVALS
Your session begins and ends at the time you booked.
Arriving late does not extend your session time.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your session may be shortened.
If 30 minutes late and there is no longer enough time to complete your session,
the shoot is automatically considered a cancellation.
Session FAQs

Your booked time includes normal outfit changes, makeup adjustments, and other changes requested during the session.
The clock does not pause while these changes are being made.
Additional shooting time may be added or requested and will be billed separately.
Editing + Retouching

Usage Rights
Your final images include Andre Portee's standard professional color correction and finishing.
More extensive requests such as major body alterations, clothing changes, object removal, complex compositing, background replacement, or other advanced retouching may require an additional fee.
IMAGE DELIVERY
Your estimated turnaround time can range from 1-3 days to 1-2 weeks depending on final details.
When your gallery is delivered, please download and back up your images promptly. Online galleries are not permanent storage.
IMAGE USE
Personal sessions include permission to use your delivered images for:
Personal use
Personal social media
Printing for yourself, friends, or family
Images may not be sold, used for paid advertising, used to promote a business or product, or licensed to another company without written permission.
Commercial or brand use requires separate approval and may require additional licensing
COPYRIGHT
Andre Portee retains copyright ownership of the photographs unless copyright has specifically been transferred in writing.
Purchasing a session does not transfer copyright ownership.
Please do not apply filters, heavy edits, AI alterations, or other changes that substantially change the final delivered work when publicly crediting or representing it as photography created by Andre Portee
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
Please arrive prepared with the clothing, products, props, accessories, and other personal items needed for your session.
Andre Portee is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unattended personal belongings brought to a session.
Any intentional or negligent damage caused to studio equipment, sets, props, or rented locations becomes the responsibility of the client.
WHO + WHAT YOU BOOKED
Your session covers the person or people, concept, location, and services selected when booking.
Please contact me before your session if you would like to add:
Additional people
Additional looks or concepts
Another location
Video
Additional shooting time
Special props or production needs
Changes that increase the scope of your session require an additional fee.
LOCATIONS + PERMITS
For on location sessions, the client is responsible for making sure photography is permitted at the selected location unless we have agreed otherwise.
Any required admission fees, permits, parking, studio rentals, or location fees are the client's responsibility.
WEATHER
Outdoor sessions are subject to weather.
If weather makes the session unsafe or prevents us from creating the planned work, I will contact you to discuss rescheduling or another option.
Weather reschedules do not automatically result in the loss of your retainer.
BY BOOKING
Completing your booking confirms that you have read, understood, and agreed to these policies.
For sessions requiring a separate Photography Services Agreement, the signed agreement will take priority if any terms differ from this website policy.
